Rob Keiter has been singing jazz in different settings since his introduction to jazz as a teenager growing up in Fort Lauderdale. Rob along with an all star line up of musicians' plays everything including standards from the Great American Song Book, swing, latin, Brazilian, bebop, and more contemporary songs in an acoustic jazz setting. Since moving to Charleston in 1997, Rob has been singing with different groups and at different venues over the past ten years. Rob has his own voice but he's been compared to vocalists such as Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra, Chet Baker, Sting, Luther VanDross, and Kurt Elling.

Locally, Rob performs with a rhythm section and is listed this way on this site as "Rob Keiter and Charleston Standard Time." However as a solo act Rob sings jazz standards and love songs both old and new accompanying himself on piano. His passion is for jazz and love songs as he is a hopeless romantic.
