Rob Keiter singing jazz along with a super line up of great jazz musicians known for their jazz performances throughout the Charleston area. Groups range from duo to six piece.
Rob Keiter has been singing jazz in different settings since his introduction to jazz as a teenager growing up in Fort Lauderdale. Rob along with an all star line up of musicians plays everything from standards from the Great American Song Book, swing, latin, Brazilian, bebop, and more contemporary songs in an acoustic jazz setting. Since moving to Charleston in 1997, Rob has been singing with different groups and at different venues over the past ten years. Rob has his own voice but he's been compared to vocalists such as Mel Torme, Frank Sinatra, Sting, Luther VanDross, and Kurt Elling.
Performing with Charleston Standard Time, Rob can be booked as a duo (with guitar or piano), a trio (with guitar or piano and contrabass), a quartet adding either drums or sax, a five piece ensemble adding either sax or drums, or a six piece ensemble adding trumpet/flugelhorn.
